Hotel Directions

There is no airport or train station in Sainte-Maxime. A bit of logistics is involved in getting to Hotel La Casa Mia.

From Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE): The main international hub, about 80-90 km away,

By car, this is the most common way. Take the A8 Autoroute ("La Provençale") west toward Aix-en-Provence/Toulon. Exit at 36 (Le Muy/Sainte-Maxime). From the exit, the D25 road should be followed south. It winds through hills and vineyards to Sainte-Maxime, directly to the town. In good traffic conditions about an hour and fifteen minutes a little over two hours on summer weekends,

By Bus: There is a direct bus (Zou! network) from Nice Airport to Saint-Raphaël, where you can change buses towards Sainte-Maxime, but this makes the journey long.

From Toulon-Hyères Airport (TLN):

Smaller and nearer (about 55 km), with even fewer flights. The drive takes about 50-60 minutes either along the beautiful coastal road or faster on the inland highway.

By Train:

The nearest TGV (High-Speed Train) station is at Saint-Raphaël Valescure (approx. 24km).

Bus 7601 (Varlib) runs coastal from the station to Sainte-Maxime. The route is gorgeous, but the trip itself is slow – about an hour or a bit less.

A taxi from the train station to your hotel will cost around 60-80 EUR.

Finding the Hotel:

La Casa Mia is on Avenue du Débarquement. If you are coming from the A8/Le Muy, this means as you approach Sainte-Maxime do not enter the (jammed) town center but follow signs for Saint-Raphaël or La Nartelle. It lies along this eastern coastal route.
